2019 New Year Tea, Prayer & Crafts Event
Updated: May 13, 2020
My second tea event has come and gone and I am thankful and blessed. This monthly get together is stretching my faith in many ways and pushing me way out of my comfort zone. I do consider it a success when I experience and witness good fellowship and smiling faces.
Three lovely ladies ventured out to support me in my hobby and to share a spot of tea with me (english accent included). We talked about the new year, had a brief devotional and prayed, and bejeweled a handmade fabric envelope. I so love antique jewelry and sharing with others!
A couple highlights blessed me immensely from this event. One friend gifted Todd and I with a meal to help while we are on furlough with the government shutdown. And another friend came a bit early to assist in set up and preparing for the event. God is so good and provides in unexpected ways.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. "
