Clean Slate Photo & Creative in 2020
Those of you who have been following me for the last few years had witnessed my ups and downs, starts and stops and starts again. Each time I started again, God showed me a little more of what He wanted Clean Slate to be.
So, now in 2020, even through the valleys that stayed awhile, one thing was consistently clear. He wanted and still wants me to share my journey. To use my God-given voice. To be real and authentic. To put into words and photos and handmade crafts what God is revealing to me, the healing He is accomplishing in my life and what it truly means to trust in Him for everything. And through it all, to encourage others.
So, I am facing this fear of rejection, fear of failure, not being accepted, being ridiculed for my words.
So, I am no longer running, no longer hiding, but am accepting the gifts and talents God has given me and am accepting His plan for me and am surrendering these things to Him. No longer to force things to happen, but to let God use me as He sees fits. This comes with the knowledge that there will still be struggles ahead and I may start and stop again, but I am determined to persevere through them all, with God's help.
A couple verses to help me through:
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” ~ Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.“ ~ Psalms 16:11 NKJV
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV
This path ahead is a twisty and windy one that can only be taken by faith, because I don’t know what is around the next corner, but God does.
